When you are in the middle of a disaster, the last thing you want to worry about is securing your property, contacting the insurance company, verifying your coverage, etc. This is where Adams is here to help. Here are some questions that we are often asked:

  • Every insurance policy is written differently. If you are unsure if your claim is covered, you can call our office to request a free assessment. We will send out one of our highly trained techs to assess the damage and look over your policy to confirm your coverage.

  • The answer is “NO”. You do not need to use the Contractor that your Insurance Company provided. As this is a good stepping stone, you do not know the dynamic behind the referral. However, there may be some good reasons to hire this company as well as some good reasons to hire your own. The key is to pick a trusted contractor that is licensed and certified like us here at ADAMS.

  • Yes. We handle the entire claim from the first call to the final nail so that you have the convenience of working only with one point of contact throughout the restoration process.

  • Generally, the answer to this question is “No”. If your claim is covered by your insurance policy, there is no upfront out of pocket costs. With that being said, if it is an out of pocket expense, you might be asked for a deposit for the services performed.
